Food & Beverage

We have worked with a number of clients in the food processing industry to construct multi-purpose plants that include areas for cooking, preserving, packaging, and storing food, as well as areas for officing and business. Our goal in designing and building food processing facilities is to help our clients streamline their commercial operations and meet or exceed all industry standards and regulations.

Planterra Foods Remodel
– Denver, Colorado

Remodel of 70,000 sqft facility completed in March 2022. Work consisted of architectural and structural upgrades to existing walls and floors new utilities, plumbing and refrigeration upgrades. New processing equipment for plant-based food production.

Rendering & Wastewater Project
– Georgia

Completed March of 2024, this project involved the construction of rendering and wastewater facilities. The project included a complete poultry by-product processing facility, steam generation plant, wastewater pretreatment, and welfare offices. The facility added sludge dewatering and larger stormwater ponds at completion.

Tyson Foods Harvest Addition
– Perry, IA

Tyson upgraded their harvest process to provide a safer, more efficient process for the employees and the animals. The site constraints required great planning and coordination to keep the plant running full production during construction. The scope consisted of a precast structure with two deep cast-in-place concrete pits for the new stunning operation.

Tyson Foods Additions
– Madison, NE

Tyson expanded their harvest process, welfare areas and animal handling facility. The scope consisted of a new processing addition, welfare areas, expansion of the animal receiving area, and stunning operations. The site logistics required great coordination to keep the facility running at all times.

BoDean’s Wafer Baking Facility
– Le Mars, Iowa

Designed and built this 140,000 square foot ice cream cone baking facility in Le Mars, Iowa. It was the fourth major plant construction project for this client. By getting us involved early in the design process, BoDeans Baking Company was able to move into their new facilities quickly and economically.
